Color Correcting

from $25.00

Purchase this option to include the service of color correcting to your pressed wedding flower order. During the process of pressing flowers, it is common for flowers to change color and fade color vibrancy over the years after it is framed. Color correcting is the process of tinting the petals and leaves to reflect the original color before being pressed and to combat the severity of fading.

We recommend purchasing this service if you have:

  • A lot of greenery in your bouquet (most greens will turn brown eventually)

  • Blush toned flowers like peonies, ranunculus, roses, lisianthus

  • White flowers like lisianthus, roses, and anemones (yellowing and browning is common)

  • Coral peonies (color fading dramatically to a very light pink is common)

  • Calla lilies

We do not recommend purchasing this service if you have:

  • A wildflower bouquet with lots of texture

  • A bouquet with no white or blush tones

  • A bouquet with lots of blues, reds, purples, pinks (these colors will not fade easily in most cases)

Flowers we cannot color correct:

  • Snapdragon

  • Orange Orchids

  • Mums and Daisies

  • Stock

  • Grasses (no color fading is common anyway)

  • Fillers with tiny blooms like misty, wax, and statice (these flowers keep their color very well in most cases anyway)
